And now the server 2 is launched !
Loads of progress during the past 2 months : 3 different views of the board, players may play in allies, hall of fame exist for both players and allies, there is a mail box in-game…
The forum is filled with lots of posts to help me debug the game, debate about the possible evolutions of the game..
Hoping this new version will be a real accelerator for the Tribes And Khans Project !

Finally we have the new Tribes and Khans working !
There are so many changes with this release, I’ll try to list the main ones :
First you will notice the board game with its new way of moving your units. Each move is cell by cell and takes 20min. To conquer a land, an army must spend 60min on a cell next to your kingdom. The timers appear on the head of every busy unit.
Inside the cities, a lot of improvements have been set. There are sliders to select the amounts, there are progress bars to see the population working and the unemployed…
The graphics have been improved as well, and in order to give a better gaming experience, a soundtrack of Utopian Hedonism is now played on the background.
The first server is now running for the next tests, feel free to have a try !

I am currently working on a new version, not based-turned anymore. The game will be 24/24h, with steps of 10 mins.
The player will select on which resource to put the workers of every city.
The moves of the units are no more free since the board is becoming a hex map (400x400). Thus a unit will be able to have a selection a successive cells, representing its way.
A unit will spend time on a cell before to go to the next, and the battles will occur when many armies meet on the same cell at the same time.
In a future version, we can imagine battles from adjacent cells, like the real use of bowmen for instance.
The first server is about to come !
